New Launch Alert - TVS iQUBE

TVS finally breaks cover on its first electric powered scooter - The iQUBE.
The sleek and classy looking TVS iQube electric scooter derives its power from a very advanced electric drivetrain, which is paired with the TVS SmartXonnect platform. TVS iQube Electric packs a 4.4 kW electric motor which is capable of churning out high power and efficiency with no loss in transmission. 
TVS claims that the iQube electric scooter can touch the max speed of 78 kmph(in power ride mode) and has the range of 75 kms in a single charge and takes 4.2s to touch the 40 kmph mark from standstill.

The scooter comes packed with a host of modern and absolutely incredible features.
For instance, you get dual ride mode, auto reverse, navigation assist, remote charge status, battery charge status, range indicator, low battery indicator, over-speed alert, ride stats, parking location history, SMS & incoming call alert, DND and emergency information are just to name a few.
The iQUBE Electric comes with an advanced TFT cluster and operates seamlessly with TVS iQube app. The dual ride mode are economy and power mode. The visibility on the screen is superbly convenient with day and night modes.
The overall design of the scooter is sophisticated. The front packs a simple design with clean lines that gives a certain character to the scooter. The lights and turn signals are crystal-clear LED and is supported by a LED DRL (Daytime Running Lights).

The clear lines continue to the rear and the tail-lamp cluster is again a crystal-clear LED unit. Braking on the scooter is taken care by a disc setup on the front and a drum setup on the rear. 

The white color on the scooter again makes it stand out and the scooter will be on sale only in this color.

By the looks of it, there is no doubt that the TVS iQUBE is going to pack a punch and has already kicked off the journey to be a formidable player in the electric scooter market. TVS says that this is a noiseless product and the spec-sheet proves that it means business. 

Bookings for the iQUBE Electric is already open in 10 select dealerships and through the website at a booking amount of Rs. 5,000. TVS spokesperson has stated that the scooter will cost 1.15 lakhs on road and will be on sale from January 27, 2020. 


As of now, the product will be sold only in Bangalore. But we can definitely see this scooter expanding its reach in the near future.

2020 has started off with prominent entries in the electric vehicle market. A segment barely touched till last year is already seeing major players like Bajaj (Chetak) and TVS (iQUBE) contributing their best towards smooth city commute and an eco-friendly environment.
